Lucia Mazer’s workshop in Tallinn

She is one of the most experienced and well known female dancers of modern tango. For years, until just recently, she has been teaching and performing together with Mariano “Chicho” Frúmboli:

She has had the courage to break the traditional rules of the woman’s role, creating a new female space. Partnered with some of the world’s most prestigious Argentine tango dancers, she has spent the last 10 years participating, as a teacher and performer, in festivals and tango events around the world.

Her prodigious technical capacities and boundless creativity allow her to constantly innovate and excel as an artist and instructor. Dancing since 1996, Lucia formed herself with different and well recognised figures of Argentine tango in Buenos Aires. She complimented her education with different physical disciplines like modern dance, acrobatics, martial arts, scenic dance improvisation. Lucia’s long background in Tango makes her one of the most recognised and experienced tango teachers, choreographers and performers in the world.
